GE Frame 3 Series
First introduced in 1949 by General Electric, the Frame 3 type gas turbine is an easily installed, flexible power generating source. Operating today up and down many of the US Gas pipelines, the Frame 3 series still play a critical role in today’s energy markets. ACT Independent Turbo Services can offer a complete range of products and services on the GE Frame 3 type gas turbine. Need parts? GE Frame 5 Series
The GE Frame 5 type gas turbine is a heavy duty 26-30 MW range turbine. With approximately 2800 units installed worldwide, it represents the most well-known turbine of its range. With our vast experience on these units, ACT can supply replacement parts, such as buckets and nozzles, combustion components and rotor and stator blades. Our capabilities on the GE Frame 5 type gas turbine include repair, rotor overhauls and field service support.
GE Frame 6 Series
The GE Frame 6 type gas turbine is a 40 MW class gas turbine, designed for 50/60 Hz power generation and 50,000 hp class mechanical drive service. With its high-rated reliability, it is a popular choice for low installed cost power generation or prime movers in midrange service. The GE Frame 6 type unit represents the widest range of applications: simple cycle, heat recovery application, combined cycle and mechanical drive. ACT has accumulated a wide experience on these units and we are able to provide a service that covers all the needs of your GE Frame 6 gas turbine.
GE Frame 7 Series
With more than 3000 units in service, the GE Frame 7 fleet has accumulated tens of millions of hours of service and is well recognized for high reliability and availability. The wide range of power generation applications for the GE Frame 7 gas turbine include combined cycle, cogeneration, simple cycle peaking and Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) in both cyclic and base load operation with a wide range of fuels.
GE Frame 9 Series
Originally introduced in 1978 at 105 MW, the 9 has incorporated numerous component improvements. The latest 9FB models boast an output of 268 MW and are capable of achieving more than 59 percent efficiency in combined-cycle. The 9E gas turbine is GE’s 50 Hz workhorse. With more than 430 units, it has accumulated over 22 million hours of utility and industrial service—often in arduous climates ranging from desert heat and tropical humidity to arctic cold. ACT has the fixturing and repair capabilities to provide repair services for most Frame 9 applications.
